A True Private Oasis!
"Wow - this place seriously is an oasis! The rooms are gorgeous, very well kept up with lots of greenery and high ceilings. The sea breezes beat the heat even in the afternoon sun! The pool is absolutely lovely, super private and clean. I have spent a ton of time reading and relaxing by the pool, enjoying the cool water and shade when the beach gets too hot. El Zonte itself is very cute. The beach is gorgeous, particularly at sunset. Black sand! It is full of surfers and weekenders visiting from San Salvador. Even as a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe walking around both day and night. The staff arranged my transport to and from the hotel, which made things seamless. I came to Garten Hotel to get some writing and relaxing done before heading on to a conference in San Salvador, and this place has far exceeded my expectations. The perfect space to unwind and enjoy the slow pace of beach life. Absolutely spectacular!"

Casa Bonita: Retreat to Remember!

"Oasis is the absolute perfect word! I was blown away at the beauty of this somewhat hidden gem. Tucked off the main strip just a touch, it gave me a more immersed experience with the locals. The Casa Bonita management was incredibly kind, helpful and communicative. I was in touch with them before and during my stay. The crew, Laura and Avion, are not only wonderful people but tremendously helpful. Honestly I'm heart broken to leave! I could easily live there! As it is my 5 nights turned into 7! The outdoor open design is comfortable and dreamy. The pool must be the best in El Tunco, clean, cool, refreshing and so pretty! I really can't say enough good. And hope I can return in the not too far future!"
